How to Capture System Logs on a UGODE Android Screen

This guide applies to UGODE Android screens equipped with a Snapdragon 665 or Snapdragon 680 processor.

System Log Capture Steps

  1. Reproduce the problem.
    Repeat the operation that causes the issue before capturing the log.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive.
    Connect the USB drive to the Android screen's USB cable.
  3. Start the log capture.
    Open:
    Apps → Feedback → Android Log Capture

    Wait until the log capture is complete.
  4. Locate the log folder.
    Open ESuper File, enter the internal storage and find:
    Internal Storage → alog
  5. Copy the logs to the USB drive.
    Copy the complete alog folder to the connected USB drive.
  6. Remove the USB drive.
    Wait approximately two minutes and confirm that the files have finished copying before removing the USB drive.
  7. Send the log files.
    Send the complete alog folder to UGODE technical support together with your order number and a description of the problem.
Important: Do not switch off the screen or remove the USB drive while the log files are being captured or copied.
