Should i need to activate the AUX function - Mercedes NTG 4.5 4.7

if you do want the option to connect and play audio from external devices and there is no AUX option in the NTG system , then activating the AUX function would be beneficial, the decision to activate the AUX function depends on your specific audio preferences and whether you anticipate using external devices to play audio through your vehicle’s sound system.

Furthermore, if you want to upgrade your car’s screen to a large Android screen, and if there is no AUX option in the NTG system, then you will need to activate the AUX. Otherwise, after the screen upgrade, you will not be able to get sound.

How to activate the AUX function For Mercedes NTG 4.5 4.7:

1.If you upgrade your car screen to a large Android screen with our Ugode Android multimedia player, then you only need to check the "AUX Activate" option in the factory settings.

2.If you just want to activate AUX, then you can activate AUX in NTG engineering mode

• Press the three buttons on the control panel and wait 6 seconds to activate "Factory" mode, as shown in the picture below, and enter Engineering mode.

• Use the original Comand joystick to select 7.HW settings in engineering mode, as shown in the picture below, press the button to confirm and enter the next page.

• On the 7.HW Settings (1/2) page, use the Command joystick to select the 7.7 HU parameters, as shown in the figure below, and then press the joystick to enter the next page.

• On the 7.7 HU parameters (1/4) page, select (4) Audio AUX: OFF, as shown in the figure below, and then select Audio AUX ON. After completing the setup, you can select Audio AUX to use external AV devices. If Audio AUX is grayed out and cannot be selected, continue as follows:

• When the AUX sound is fully activated, you can then install other devices such as CarPlay decoders or Android displays.Return to Engineer mode, use the knob to select "System Reset" and press OK (see image below).

3.In some cars, the Audio-AUX option may not be available in engineering mode. In such cases, it is recommended to visit a car service shop and request them to activate AUX for you.
